Anything Goes - Weeks #716-717

Welcome back again, everyone. We're delighted and blessed to have you join us for yet another great challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. Because of the (sad) unexpected closing of My Favorite Things, we were left in need of a sponsor for this challenge. The scripture in focus for this challenge is Psalm 77:12 and it says, "I will meditate also of all Thy work, and talk of Thy doings". When we stop to think about it, everything God created in a literal six days (the earth, the seas, the skies, the plants/atmosphere, animals, fish, mankind, etc.) is nothing short of miraculous. It's no wonder that the Psalmist, David, says he will "mediate all thy work and talk of all thy doings" because God is truly amazing. Those who know, love and trust God as the Creator, Author and Finisher of all creation have MUCH to think about and to talk about. God alone is worthy of our praise. Even those who don't know, love and trust God as the Creator, Author and Finisher of all creation continue to meditate (think about) and to talk of His doings. Yes, much to think about and to talk about because HE IS GOD and HE is amazing. Let's continue to share His love and promises with the world around is and point people to Him. It's the desire of God's heart that ALL people would know Him as Savior. Let's join together in having the same heart's desire as God has.....leading people to Him so that they will truly know "His mighty works and His doings".

As always, you are welcome to save the word art to your computer; but you are never required to use it in order to play along or to win in our challenges. We welcome you to share all of your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family friendly. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week for a total of ten (10) entries per two-week challenge. Any entries over that limit will be deleted and will make you ineligible to win. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and an encouragement to you as we share it. Anything Goes - Weeks #714-715

Welcome back for another fun challenge, everyone. We're getting a little bit of a late start today, but we're ready now. It's exciting to think about all the beautiful cards and creations that will be linked with us over the next two weeks. Thanks for sharing the wonderful cards you share with us. Don't forget to share them ALL. Up to five per week for a total of ten per two-week challenge. The scripture in focus for this amazing piece of word art is Psalm 105:8 and it says, "He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations". What this verse is telling us is, once again, that God is faithful. Please remember that we're not talking about "a god" or "some god", but rather; the Bible is referring to the One true God. He is known as Jehovah God in the Old Testament, and He is referred to as Jesus Christ in the New Testament. That's still the same One true God. He is faithful and unchanging. The principles, truths and beauties that make up WHO God is are at the very core of His existence. He will not ever change. His principles and purposes will never change. We can always count on our God to be unchanging. His promises are perfect, true and will be fulfilled. What a joy and comfort it is to know that God loves us, that He's in control of all things, that His Word and ways/truths have never changed and will never change. All we need to do is trust in Him. He's done the rest.

Anything Goes - Weeks #712-713

Welcome back for another awesome challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. I'm getting a really late start here today, and I apologize for that. We have a house full of kids and grandkids right now. Our son had his tonisls removed yesterday, so they're all staying here. It's a little bit crazy around here, but we are praising and thanking God for taking care of our son and bringing him safely through surgery. God is SO good. We have lots of fun things planned for you, so let's get started with our challenge.

Our scripture verse for the word art in this challenge is Deuteronomy 32:4 and it says, "He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He". What a tremendous blessing and joy it is know that our God, Jesus Christ, the One and only true God can show us His amazing attributes of stability, strength and reliability every day. When we submit to God and call on Him, He shows us that He will be our Rock. He will be our stable place and source of strength. All His ways are perfect, proven and true. Nothing in His holy Word is false or misleading. He alone is our way to eternity in Heaven. Did you know that other "religions" actually CHANGE their doctrine (beliefs) over time. It's absolutely true. The Jehovah's Witnesses change their doctrine "as the light gets brighter" and men supposedly hear more clearly from God. The Mormon church has also changed its doctrinal beliefs many many times over the years. I'm not making up anything here. It's absolute truth. The ONLY religion that has always remained the same (and always will remain the same) is the Bible, God's holy Word, the instructions He gave to us that were God-breathed and profitable for our lives. God's truths will NEVER CHANGE because they are absolute truth. They don't need to change because they are perfect, right. holy and true. Absolute truth never changes. Our God never changes. He alone is our ROCK and our steady place for today and for always.

Anything Goes - Weeks #710-711

Welcome back, everyone. Are you all ready for another amazing challenge with us here at Word Art Wednesday? It's always most fun when YOU are able to join us. The more, the merrier. We really enjoy seeing your amazing cards linked up here, and we appreciate each and every card you share with us. Best of luck in the random draw. We hope that you'll enjoy the brief devotional, the inspirational cards that are being shared, and the super FUN challenge we have ready for you now. Thanks for being here to take part in the FUN.

The scripture in focus for this challenge is Lamentations 3:24 which reads, "The LORD is my portion, saith my soul: therefore, will I hope in Him". This is a beautiful Bible verse that reassures us of the profound sense of hope and reliance on God's faithfulness and mercy that we are able to experience new every morning. Each and every day as we wake up, we can be assured that the LORD (Jehovah God in the Old Testament and Jesus Christ in the New Testament - same person, same ONE God) is always present to uphold us. When we ask God to enter into our lives, we enter an eternal covenant (promise) with Him that allows us to experience His love, peace and mercies that are new every morning. When you wake up in the morning, just say THANK YOU, LORD. Thank you for being present for me every single day, for equipping me for all that I will encounter this day, and for making a way for me to spend forever in Your presence. What amazing blessings we have through His promises. Praise God!
